3rd Annual Texas Tech University Drag Show Benefits PFLAG Lubbock Scholarship

Come to the 3rd Annual Drag Show this Friday March 3oth at 8:30PM in the Frazier Alumni Pavilion (TTU campus)! 

All week you can get a chance to get a VIP ticket by coming to the RHA table Monday from 11-1PM in the Free Speech Zone or by coming to the RHA movie night on Wednesday in the Escondido Theatre @ the SUB @ 7PM to watch “Birdcage!”
All VIPs will be able to get early seating at this year’s Drag Show starting at 7:45 the night of!

Don’t forget to bring your dollar bills as all tips will help support PFLAG Lubbock and their scholarships for local students!

Space fills up quickly, so if you don’t have your VIP wristband, you’ll want to get there early!

About Ricky

Ricky grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School in 2003. He continued his education and received an Associates degree from South Plains College and is currently a senior at Texas Tech working on his Bachelor’s in Social Work. He is graduating in December 2011. He currently serves as Committee Chair for the OUTwest Lubbock Pride Committee. Ricky became an activist in 2002 when he served as co-founder and vice-president for a Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) called GAPyouth at Lubbock High. He has served on the PFLAG Lubbock board as President and two different positions, received the Courage Award in 2004 from Lambda Legal, and was nominated for the President’s Excellence in Diversity and Equity Award through Texas Tech University’s Division of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement in 2010.
